If you want to hit the bright lights, but not in the mood for frenetic clubbing, sit back, relax and watch a movie at one of the cinema complexes. Suva City has a complex on Victoria Parade owned by Damodar, who are the proprietors of all “Village” cinemas in the South Pacific.

Village 6, like all the other franchise cinemas, offers a quality cinema experience and has a great surround sound system for your enjoyment. The latest movies are released around the same time as releases in other major countries with the latest movies sometimes available even before western countries with 3D also in place. Generally 2-3 Bollywood movies are played every week with the remainder being English.

Admission for a family of two adults and two children with large popcorn and 2 ice creams costs only AUD$19.00! Now that’s a bargain. There are also premier nights for new and long awaited movies which at times are available for fund raising activities.
