Maya Dhaba Restaurant

This authentic Indian restaurant is located at two places, one is in MHCC and the other venue is at Victoria Parade, Suva a few blocks down the Traps Bar and Night Club.  It is one of the places where the food is cooked by chefs which are originally from India.  Being reasonably priced and having great Indian dishes is something that is famous at the restaurant.

Maya Dhaba has specialties such as Punjabi tandoori chicken tikka to delicious Masala Dosa’s(rice-flour pancakes wrapped crepe like around potato curry) from Madras.  There are many other choices that both vegetarians and meat lovers can choose from.  They also have the Naan and delicious Butter Chicken. The Chicken Biryani is also a delicious dish to choose from the menu.  After your meal, you can enjoy the vast range of Indian sweets and drinks available upon your request.   The restaurant is set in a nice quite environment and the service is good as well.

Maya Dhaba opens from 11am-3pm and 5:30-10pm every day.   The menu is well explained so you do not have to ask about the dish.  It is non- smoking restaurant.  You will find a lot of Indian families who frequent this place along with couples and those who want to have something spicy as their meals.  The MHCC restaurant is quite busy as it is in an opening surrounding while the one on Victoria Parade road is less busy and nice and peaceful.
