Mount Korobaba
Mt Korobaba is located just ten minutes outside of Suva and offers fantastic views across Suva Harbor. It is easy to get to and impossible to miss. Some like to describe as the smaller brother of the famous Pao de Suca (Sugarloaf) peak in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. It’s easy enough to find, just head out until you find yourself directly across from it on the highway and then head up the one road headed straight towards it.
The time the walk takes to complete will depend on the size of the group that you are hiking with and how long you take for breaks, but some can complete it in less than one hour… or so they say. No matter how long you take and how many scenic (or catch your breath) stops you take, the payoff will certainly be worth it.
So, make sure you put on your best hiking footwear and climb the tallest peak of Suva and admire the brilliant view of Suva Harbour from 400+ meters above sea level. You’ll be happy you did.
